FAQs
Can I book a Santa’s Lapland holiday without paying a deposit?
Yes, when you book a Santa’s Lapland holiday and choose to pay by direct debit through our trusted partner, Trustly, there’s no need to pay a deposit upfront. It’s that easy!
How do Trustly direct debits work?
Trustly direct debits make it easy to spread the cost of your holiday -with no payment fees and no interest to worry about. This option is available for new customers booking holidays that are more than 18 weeks away, as we’ll need to collect at least two direct debit payments before your final balance is due (10 weeks before your departure).
Please note that existing bookings aren’t eligible for direct debit payments, but it’s a great option for planning ahead with a new holiday!
How can I set up a direct debit?
Setting up a direct debit is easy! You can do it through our website when you book your holiday, as long as your departure is more than 18 weeks away. This gives us enough time to collect at least two payments before the full balance is due, which is 10 weeks before your departure.
Once your direct debit is set up, we’ll send you a confirmation email with the payment amounts and due dates. Payments will be taken on either the 1st or 15th of each month, depending on when you book, and we’re not able to offer a choice of dates. Please note, that the bank account used for direct debit must be in the name of the lead passenger on the booking.
Will there be any changes to my direct debit?
If you need to make changes to your booking that affect the price, you'll simply need to settle any extra costs or fees at the time of the change. If your change reduces the cost of your holiday, we’ll update your direct debit schedule, and your monthly payments will be adjusted accordingly.
And don’t worry, if there are any changes to the amount, date, or frequency of your payments, we’ll give you a heads-up at least 3 working days before we take any payment from your account, unless we’ve agreed something different.
What happens if I need to cancel my holiday?
We get it - plans change! If you need to cancel your booking or can’t travel, our usual cancellation charges will apply, as outlined in 1.4(b). If you haven’t paid enough through direct debits to cover the cost at the time of cancellation, we’ll ask you to pay the remaining balance. Or, if you’ve already paid more than what’s due, we’ll refund the difference to you.
