Europe’s Longest Toboggan Run

Tobogganing is one of the most popular winter sports for families, and Lapland is home to one of the longest toboggan runs in Europe. It's a whopping 1km long!

It's child-friendly, free to use and lots of fun for the whole family. Plastic toboggans can be picked up from your hotel (there may be up to a $2 charge to use these) and used wherever you’d like, but the dedicated toboggan run is a must-do in your spare time.

What is the weather like in Lapland?

During the peak winter season, Lapland’s temperatures range from -16C to 3C. Sometimes it can even get as low as -30C, but don’t worry, the crisp air has a moderating effect on temperatures making it easy to stay warm and comfortable.
